Eamon 2.0, also sometimes referred to as the "IBM version of Eamon", is a conversion by Jon Walker of the standard, Apple-based Eamon adventure game system to MS-DOS for use with PCs. Walker, operating as Wisconsin Software Systems, released the conversion in 1985, with John Nelson announcing its availability in the October issue of the club newsletter. It was also later distributed by PC-SIG on its disks 297, 298, 1038, and 1039. PC-SIG also distributed two "contest" adventures, Cronum's Castle and Lord of the Underland on disks 720 and 721, though in later catalogs these disks were either left blank or listed as "unsupported."

A number of adventures were released and announced; some were unique to Wisconsin Software Systems and others unique to PC-SIG:

PC Eamon Museum

Eamon Deluxe developer Frank Black included Walker's port of the game in his "PC Eamon Museum", a collection of various PC-based Eamon projects. Black made minor adjustments to Walker's files, which he described in his notes:

I renamed all of the .DOC files which were not actually .DOC in the modern sense, as well as annoying files like "READ.ME", to standard .TXT files for easier viewing. I also deleted all of the obsolete batch utilities which attempted to send files like "READ.ME" to a parallel printer.

Unmodified copies of the source files which were used to construct this exhibit can be found in the Frank Black Productions Archives at www.eamonag.org.

The museum collection includes versions 1.1 and 2.2 of Walker's Main Hall, an untested copy of Walker's Dungeon Designer, and the five PC-SIG-published adventures: The Ice Cave, Assault on the Clone Master, The Quest for Trezore, Cronum's Castle, and Lord of the Underland.
